How to Use the Rental Bicycle
Step 1: Register and install the app before your visit. ※For details, please check below
Step 2: Head to the designated rental location what (Umimachi Terrace next to Oarai Station)..
Step 3: Rent the bicycle using the smart lock system.
Step 4: Enjoy your ride within the rental period.
Step 5: Return the bicycle to the same location when finished.
If the payment method is not registered in the app, you will not be able to use the bicycle, so please be aware of this.
Please make sure to register your real name. If a name other than your real name is used, insurance will not apply, so please be cautious.
Do not close or start the app when your smartphone is out of signal range. The app may not be able to retrieve user information, and the lock may not operate correctly.(If unlocking in an area with no signal, start the app in a location with signal, and then move to the location of the vehicle to unlock it.)
When returning the bicycle, please ensure both manual locking and completing the return procedure through the app. If the return procedure is not completed, you may incur a usage fee.Before use, please check the condition of the bike, such as brake functionality and tire pressure, to ensure there are no issues.
Please follow traffic laws and avoid any dangerous driving.
Do not park in prohibited areas or places that could obstruct pedestrians.
If the bicycle is stolen, if the lock is lost, or if accessories are damaged or broken, you will be charged the actual cost.
Except in cases where we are at fault, Umimachi Terrace and bLink Technologies will not be held responsible for any damages caused by accidents, theft, or other issues.
In case of an accident during use, please contact the police and Umimachi Terrace immediately.
If a breakdown occurs, bring the bike to the rental location or, if it is difficult to ride, contact the rental location.
During events where large crowds are expected, the use of the app may be restricted.
