A long-established seafood store with a hundred-year history. This store offers a wide selection of dried fish, whitebait, seasoned abalone, boiled clams, boiled salmon, and more! The prices are reasonable, too.

Right in front of Oarai Fishing Port, this fish shop is marked by a huge yellow sign. In front of the shop, you will find an array of dried fish and fresh fish, and they also offer grilled clams, scallops, shrimp, and more.

A branch of a long-established dried fish store “Iiokaya Suisan.” Our fresh fish, dried fish will make excellent souvenirs. The anglerfish soup and roasted octopus, perfect for eating on the go, are highly popular.

A direct shop for agricultural products selling freshly harvested vegetables produced by local farmers. You can enjoy cheap and delicious Oarai vegetables. Other items include rice cakes and rice balls handmade by Oarai mothers, and local specialties are available.

A long-established seaweed shop founded by the first generation from Sanriku around 1945. They handle high-quality seaweed such as wakame seaweed and kelp. Direct online sales also available.

Sakaten Park consists of Sakaten Market and Sakaten Restaurant. In addition to shopping for fresh fish and dried fish, you can enjoy a variety of seafood dishes made with fresh fish and seafood rice bowls.
